Central Management Services would receive $5 billion under the Governor's proposed budget, a decrease of $93.8 million or 1.8%. Highlights of the Governor's proposed budget for the state's management agency, the Dept. of Central Management Services includes:

 

  • New $1.1 million GRF for a Veteran’s Business Program
  • Upward Mobility Program eliminated in FY13 introduced budget.  The FY12 appropriation was $4.0 million

 

Group Health Insurance

The FY13 GRF request for GHI is $1.1 billion.  This is a decrease of $264.4 million, or 18.4% below the FY12 appropriation.  The total FY13 GHI request is $2.8 billion in other funds.  The Commission on Government and Forecasting Commission has not yet put out an FY13 estimated Group Health liability to compare to the Administration’s.
